Helen Haddad was born in New York and graduated from that city's prestigious School of Art and Design. Early in her marriage she and her husband moved to Southern California where she attended California State University at Fullerton and worked for many years in the Los Angeles County Library System before leaving to write full time.

She is a member of Mystery Writers of America, the Orange County Chapter of Romance Writers of America and Sisters in Crime. Helen can usually be found, surrounded by her wonderfully supportive family, in her hillside home in La Habra Heights, where she lives, loves, and writes.

Picture of Guilt, soon to be released in paperback and e-format from Amber Quill Press, is her first published novel. It was recently named as a finalist in the Eppie 2003 Award for Best Romantic Suspense.
