...Luke had already built a large pedestal bed frame. She could see a king-sized mattress with a deep chocolate-colored quilt and matching sheets. The sheets were tossed back as if he had jumped out of bed that morning in a hurry.
She licked her suddenly dry lips at the thought of rushing him back into that bed right now. Beside the bed was an upside down crate with small lamp on it.
The very lack of furnishings made the view from the huge, albeit unfinished, windows even more startling. The sun was hanging low in the sky over the lake and poured through the windows like spun gold. Pam moved closer to the windows and tried to calm her racing heart.
He stepped behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. She felt his chin on her shoulder and she shifted her head to one side giving his lips access to her neck. Instead of kissing there, he traced her ear lobe with his hot tongue. When he took the lobe into his mouth and bit gently, Pam’s hands reached up to move his, content to rest just below her breasts, up until he was cupping them.
Still suckling her lobe, he played finger games on each breast tracing light circles up and over them before finally stroking the outline of her nipples, which were already growing hard. Much too soon for Pam’s thinking, his hands left her breasts and moved down her stomach below her navel until the tips of his fingers were resting just at her pubic line.
His breath whispered in her ear. “You’re so beautiful,” he said. “I’ve dreamed of you standing here like this.”
Pam felt her breath clutch and stutter in her lungs.
“May I give you pleasure?” he asked.
Pam felt part of her melting. No other man had ever simply asked that before. She felt as if he was now reaching more than just her body—he was touching her soul as well. She wanted to say yes. But her voice was suddenly lost to her. All she could do was moan. Thankfully he interpreted the sound correctly...
