…She sighed softly into his mouth and wrapped her arms around his neck, drawing him closer. That sent his pulse rocketing like he’d just ridden the rapids and survived.
Everything zeroed in on three pleasure points.
Tongue to tongue.
Never had the tip of his tongue felt so sensitive. It wasn’t a pain, but a pleasure so intense it flooded the rest of his senses.
He could taste her breath, mint with a hint of spring. His nostrils flared as if the taste of her was imprinting itself through his sinuses into his lungs. Her eyes, beautiful blue, deepened by her tears, were like he had dived below the surface of the lake. If he was going to drown, he’d do so willingly as long as he looked at her while it happened.
