“I’m going with you.” Eleanor’s tone brooked no argument.

“Nora, love—”

“Robin, love.” She put her hand over his mouth. “Hush. I’m coming.”

“’Twill be dangerous,” Robin told her. His arms pulled her onto his chest, his hands sliding down her back to caress her bum. “I don’t know for sure if ’tis the green bastard’s hideaway or just her own.”

“All the more reason for me to come along. Remember what happened the last time we went into his fae world.”

“Right.” His laugh rumbled through her. His fingers caressed her more.

Eleanor had stowed away on her ex-fiancé’s ship, The Rainbow, thinking to escape the dreary prospect of becoming no more than an indentured servant in marriage to him. Robin, holding a stolen magic coin, had appropriated the ship with her on it. Desperate to get away from him, Eleanor had nicked the coin and jumped off, swimming to the shore of the nearest island. Robin had followed her, and the coin led them both to an underground fae world, complete with magic and mermaids. It had also been overcast with strong sexual magic that made those who entered it uncontrollably aroused.
