Brita Addams was born in Upstate New York, but migrated to the sultry south and has made her home there for many years. She writes, for the most part, erotic historical romance, though with her first release with Amber Quill Press, she's wandered into the realm of contemporary erotic romance.

Historical romance feeds two passions, romance and history, and contemporary allows her to incorporate pop culture and today's language in her stories.

Brita shares her home with her real-life hero, her husband, Clint, her daughter, Lindsay, an author in her own right, a puppy named Fiona, who is Brita's muse, and a fat cat named Stormee.
