Ten years later, the men meet again in Las Vegas, and try to figure out what went wrong between them. Reese, however, tells a completely different story to the one he gave back in New York, and now Chad’s convinced that what he heard was true and Reese is lying. The problem is, he still loves Reese, and Reese says he feels the same way.

But can love overcome all the hurt and the pain and give them a second chance at happiness?

It sounded like such a simple, mutually beneficial arrangement. A little short-term pain for long-term gain, or so Nick Gregorio’s ambitious boyfriend, Al Martinsen, believed. If Nick would take a back seat while Al played the doting husband to Missy, daughter of the town’s leading lawyer, for a couple of months, Al’s lifelong dream of a partnership with Hilldale & Partners would finally be achieved. In return, Missy would be out from under her daddy’s thumb, free to follow her own alternative lifestyle. As far as spur-of-the-moment plans went, this one sounded perfect.

Now, six weeks have passed with no word from Al, and Nick doesn’t know what to think. Is Al still considering moving to Vegas, or does his silence say it all? When Nick finally receives news about Al, he looks for temporary oblivion in the form of a night out that turns nasty and violent. Fortunately for Nick, his new friend and boss, Trip Browning, comes to his aid. With Trip’s support, Nick is able to resume work planning the gala opening of The Neapolitan’s newest restaurant. That is, until Trip delivers a surprise of his own and sends Nick’s world spinning in a whole different direction...
